By Faith Alone

“So now we hold, that man is justified without the help of the works of the law, alone through faith” (Rom 3:28).

Luther’s gospel is that you are saved by faith and not works lest any man should boast.  He infamously added the word “alone” to this passage when he translated the Bible into German for the first time.In contrast, Roman Catholics say you are saved by keeping the seven Sacraments:  baptism, marriage, eucharist, confirmation, reconciliation, anointing the sick, and holy orders.

Yet, neither the Lutheran nor Roman Catholic Hybrids teach what Jesus did:

True Christianity is simply an obedient love relationship with Jesus.  And Jesus was very clear that initially we are saved by grace and God will continue to forgive sins and work with us;Jesus was also very clear that if you do not produce fruit in keeping with repentance you will lose your salvation. The parables are replete with this warning:  the parable of the minas, wheat and tares, vine and the vinedresser, and the parable of the vineyard to name a few.  All involve an expectation of producing fruit and works or being rejected.  The vinedresser pruned the unproductive vines off and they withered and died, the servant who did not show a return on the mina invested by the master was thrown out of the house, the tares who did not produce wheat were thrown into the fire, and only the worker who went and worked in the vineyard received a denarii from the Master at the end of the day etc.

In contrast, a Hybrid wants a homogeneous society.   Since everyone in the homogeneous society was saved from birth, there was no need to evangelize or call people to repent.  To actually teach that what you do will determine your eternal destiny is work oriented salvation and heresy. Since everyone sins daily, what is the point in trying to repent, all you can do is believe in the abstract and God will accept you because it is by faith “alone” that you are saved.

As Americans, it is a little difficult for us to imagine, that only a little while ago, the Hybrids controlled all of European society in achoiceless homogeneous way.  The compromises on divorce and remarriage and participation in the military are no small issues.Luther’s Germany, a predominantly professing Christian nation, slaughtered millions of professing Russian, English, and French professing Christians in World War I and II and vice versa.   Our own professedly Christian Country slaughtered each other in the Civil War.Approximately 40% of all professing Protestants are in adultery disguised as remarriage.  Unrepentant adulterers will go to hell (1 Cor 6:9).  Meanwhile, Catholics and Lutherans are taught that you don’t actually have to repent or do good works because you are saved by observing the sacraments or by faith alone.  Leading almost all of them to do little or nothing for Jesus’ Kingdom.  Even though Jesus clearly warned in many of the parables and ends the Sermon on the Mount with: “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many [s]miracles?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; leave Me, you who practice lawlessness.’  Participation in war and violence and adultery disguised as remarriage is lawlessness.

The Bible says that Satan takes on the form of an angel of light (2 Cor 11:14).  Both the Catholic and Lutheran churches present themselves as Christ’s church.  They talk about Christ.  They call people to a moral life.  But at the same time, they allow Christians to go to war and use violence in other occupations.  Both have large numbers of members in adultery disguised as remarriage.  Both falsely teach original sin and the need for infant baptism and that you become a Christian without choice.  Paul said “But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a different gospel other than the one we preached to you let him be eternally condemned” (Gal 1:8) and “hold to the faith once and for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 1:30).Both Lutheranism and Catholicism masquerade as angels of light, but in reality practice doctrines of demons leading many, if not most of their members along the broad road to destruction.

Has Lutheranism made you productive for the Lord?  Aside from your many writings against Evolution?  Do you fast because Jesus said his disciples would fast (Mat 9:15)?  Are you a man of prayer?  Do you seek and save the lost, are you a fisher of men (Mat 4:19), are you focused on making disciples of all nations (Mat 28:18)?Do you care for the poor or hoard wealth?  Or do you do very little because you are saved by faith alone?
